Changes to the Board of Directors

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listing Requirements, shareholders are advised of the following changes to Miranda`s board of directors:

Mr Wayne Albert Ison, executive director of Miranda, has resigned effective 15 May 2009 to pursue private business interests. Wayne was closely involved in the management of Miranda. The board thanks him for his important contribution and wishes him well for the future.

The board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Adriaan Moolman Botha as the new Financial Director of Miranda with effect from 15 May 2009. Adriaan is a Chartered Accountant, having completed his articles with a top five auditing firm, and has previously worked with Miranda`s financial team in a consulting capacity. His professional experience includes both auditing and preparation of financial statements for various JSE-listed entities.

Adriaan`s specialist expertise further extends into consulting on International Financial Reporting Standards.

The appointment of a CA strengthens the board and is consistent with the latest corporate governance guidelines and best practice. The board is excited about the positive contribution Adriaan will be able to make as Miranda continues to develop into a fully-fledged mining and exploration group.
